Thank you for your interest in submitting your research to the Electrical Engineering Technical Journal (EETJ). This guide provides detailed instructions to ensure your manuscript is prepared and submitted correctly.

General Information

1. Journal Scope

EETJ publishes original research and review articles in all areas of electrical engineering. Articles must contribute new knowledge or present innovative applications in the field. More

 

2. Article Types

EETJ accepts the following types of submissions:

  • Research Articles: Detailed reports of original research.
  • Review Articles: Summaries and evaluations of recent advancements.
  • Case Studies: Practical applications and analyses.
  • Short Communications: Brief reports on new findings or methodologies.

3. Open Access

All articles are published under an open-access license (CC BY 4.0). This ensures your work is freely accessible to researchers worldwide. More

Manuscript Preparation

1. Manuscript Structure

Ensure your manuscript includes the following sections:

1.1 Title Page

  • Title (capitalize only the first word and proper nouns).
  • Full names of all authors (no titles or degrees).
  • Affiliations (include institution and country).
  • Corresponding author's email address.

1.2 Abstract

  • Maximum 300 words.
  • Summarize the purpose, approach, results, and conclusions.
  • Avoid citations, figures, or tables.

1.3 Keywords

  • Provide 3 to 5 keywords separated by semicolons.

1.4 Main Sections

  • Introduction: Present the research background and objectives.
  • Methods: Describe the experimental or computational methods used.
  • Results: Present findings using tables and figures where appropriate.
  • Discussion: Interpret the results and compare them to previous studies.
  • Conclusion: Summarize the key findings and suggest future work.

1.5 Acknowledgment

  • Mention any funding sources or contributors who assisted with the research.

  • Use the IEEE citation style.

2. Formatting Guidelines

2.1 Page Layout

  • Paper size: A4 (21 cm × 29.7 cm).
  • Margins: Top: 1.5 cm, Bottom: 1.5 cm, Left: 2 cm, Right: 1.5 cm.
  • Single-column format.

2.2 Font and Text

  • Font: Times New Roman.
  • Sizes:
    • Title: 14 pt bold, centered.
    • Author names: 11 pt, centered.
    • Affiliations: 9 pt, centered.
    • Main text: 9 pt, justified.
    • Abstract: 8 pt, justified.

2.3 Figures and Tables

  • Include figures and tables in the manuscript near their first mention.
  • Use high-resolution images (at least 300 DPI).
  • Number figures and tables consecutively using Arabic numerals.
  • Include descriptive captions:
    • Figures: Place captions below the figure.
    • Tables: Place captions above the table.

2.4 Equations

  • Use the Equation Editor or LaTeX for mathematical expressions.
  • Number equations consecutively, aligning numbers to the right (e.g., Eq. (1)).

3. Nomenclature and Symbols

  • Include a list of symbols and abbreviations if necessary.
  • Use consistent symbols throughout the manuscript.

Submission Guidelines

1. File Formats

Submit your manuscript as:

  • Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
  • PDF (for review purposes).

2. Submission Process

3. Supporting Materials

4. Plagiarism Check

All manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using specialized software (turnitin). Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% (25% for AI generated contenct) will be returned to the authors. More

Peer Review Process

1. Initial Screening

  • The editorial team checks submissions for scope, format, and originality.
  • Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements are returned without review.

2. Peer Review

  • Manuscripts undergo a double-blind review process.
  • Reviewers evaluate manuscripts for originality, clarity, methodology, and relevance.
  • Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript based on reviewer comments.

3. Final Decision

  • The editor makes the final decision to accept, revise, or reject the manuscript.
